Starting in March 2020, I was able to work more closely with my ArtistWorks students at the Jason Vieaux Online Guitar School, since most everything for musicians was being done remotely. Before that time, I had always wanted to compose more simple and Intermediate etudes that targeted more of the fundamentals with which my ArtistWorks student base seemed to struggle. After all, over 600 students and players from over 30 countries is a pretty healthy global cross-section of what beginner and intermediate level players find difficult. I also wanted to (and still do) write simpler things that were essentially more musical examples of the Tarrega or Giuliani Right-hand exercises, in a more contemporary style. I hope to write more of these, and eventually create a large set that goes progressively from Beginner to Intermediate.
